As the tax season steadily approaches, we all find ourselves sifting through important paperwork we’ve accumulated over the years. If you find you have more than 5 boxes worth of shredding, that’s ok. After your first 5 boxes, we will shred each box thereafter at $5 per box. To ensure information security, we do not collect documents for paper shredding at your home, but request that you bring them to the Novak office at 5000 W. 8th Street in Sioux Falls.
Our secure document destruction process takes place through a division of Novak Sanitary Services called Dakota Data Shred. Dakota Data Shred operates in a secured facility on-site and are in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. Facilities are video monitored and recorded and entrance is restricted by a keypad access security alarm system. Documents are shredded and transferred to a pulping mill to be recycled.
These security precautions ensure our ability to handle confidential documents from credit card statements to personal receipts to bank documents. In addition to paper, we’re able to shred staples, clips, film and CDs.
