Novak Team Active Part of Community
Novak Sanitary Service has been a proud member of the Sioux Falls area for more than 50 years and takes pride in giving back to the community that has helped make the Novak story a success story.
The employees and management at Novak Sanitary Service are focused on environmental sustainability, business development, and the quality of life for the residents in the greater Sioux Falls area and surrounding areas.
As part of its mission to support the community and keep local events clean and safe, Novak supports several community-building events and activities like:
- 4H Achievement Days in Canton, July 28-Aug. 1, 2019
- The Special Olympic Polar Plunge in Brandon which raised more than $16,000 for Special Olympics South Dakota in 2018
- The Banquet SOS Project in Sioux Falls that distributes new back packs filled with school supplies
- Crime Stoppers Avera Race Against Breast Cancer
- Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
- Hot Harley Nights
- Sioux Falls Jazz Fest
- Sioux Falls Germanfest
- World’s Largest Truck Convoy.More than just your local trash hauling and commercial garbage service provider, Novak Sanitary Service employees are members of the greater Sioux Falls community.
Novak also looks to the future and sustainability of our communities and strives to be a leader in the recycling efforts in our area. Novak has partnered with commercial and residential customers to recycle a significant portion of the waste stream.
In 2018, their Dakota Data Shred division of Novak Sanitary Service shipped 5.75 million pounds of securely shredded documents to pulp mills for recycling.
